Oak Wood Chair Blueprint with Wool Seat

This is an archetypical chair by Form & Refine – a chair made completely out of wood. The extraordinarily shaped seat inspired by the human body supports a good comfort. In addition, the solid organically shaped backrest gives the chair a minimalistic and personal feature. There are no visible screws. It is made of local certified wood. The chair is upholstered with the classic woollen textile Hallingdal 65 in an updated colour scale and a traditional pattern. The textile is a blend consisting of 70% new wool and 30% viscose. The wool provides exceptional durability and flexibility, whilst the viscose lends brilliance and depth to the colour. Both materials are dyed before they are spun, which highlights the rich texture of the fabric. The textile Hallingdal was developed in partnership with Kvadrat.
